Poor David hadn't seen the god-awful pewter model of Rodney (someone on ADB says it looks like Gero, which is true). Poor thing was also the last to know, alerted by the mud-slinging on the forum.

Fame sucks sometimes. *pets him*

I should have saved the IM with morbid_sparks yesterday cos I could cut and paste the evidence that I have finally flipped. From what I remember (which isn't much as I was rather drunk), I'd commented on how Rodney-like my mod post to city_on_the_sea was and that I was scared since I wasn't trying to be.

morbid_sparks just grinned.

To which I said that her doing that and not saying anything was basically confirmed my suspicions. She said that I was amusing her.

Moi - "Well I'm glad I'm providing you amusement" (or words to that effect)

Then I read what I'd typed. And realised that, yes, all hope is lost and I have Become McKay.

I guess it was just a matter of time.

*sighs*

But in Other News I must have gotten the McKay intelligence and passed it on to Elizabeth. My two and a half year old can cout to 4! I mean, not just repeating it, but actually count objects. I was cutting up buns for burgers (Buns For Burgers, what a great band name. Hm. morbid_sparks is right to remove my naming rights) and she was watching me and counting as I did them. Cue me in awe and yelling for H and a repeat demonstration.

Further to the I-should-never-name-anything-ever fiasco (I caused War on mckay_cadman My bad), I was writing last night and it was definite porn. However a sappy bit crept in and I told morbid_sparks about that too. And then labelled it "sporn".

You can even sing it to Monty Python's Spam Song. I know, I tried.

In conclusion: I must not take or consume alcohol and/or sugar at Pegasus 2 because it would lead to Very Bad Things.

So the postman comes round and thanks to morbid_sparks, who is extraordinarily great, I am now the proud owner of Get Down (abet a not-quite-legit version). Plays okay though so I really don't care.

Been posting on ADB again, calling David a git (it's over geek stuff, never mind) and generally bugging him. He should, by now, be used to be sarcastic/flippant/facetious comments. If not, he'd better get used to it cos it's not changing any time soon. I don't tend to fawn and scrape (not over the internet anyhoo) and he gets what everyone on Livejournal gets.

I pity the lot of you sometimes.
