Big Finish Dr Who Writing Comp.
Stories are to be from the POV of a passerby who's affected by the Doctor. Regenerations up to and including the Eighth, but not Nine or Ten. No enemies, just how a chance meeting can affect one (think Love & Monsters, only better).
I might give this a go, but I'm rather hazy on past Regenerations.

JaNoWriMo & NaNoWriYe07
21 Dec 2006 07:35 pmHaving completely gotten the writing bug again, I'm looking at doing the JaNoWriMo (I missed November, plus January is easier for me anyway)
I'm dusting down the sci fi novel I'd planned on doing last year. I've posted a longer summary (think of the blurb you get on the back page of books) and I've already had one person saying they'd buy it. Which is a huge prop for any writer.
The target for JaNo is 50K, which I've no idea if I'll make but it's something to aim at.
I've no actual target for NaNoWriYe07. I'm including anything I write. I may get inspired to do another novel. The sci fi is intended to be one of a series.

I got Absolution yesterday. My God I love Muse. I'd forgotten how good Hysteria/Sing for Absolution/everything else is. Damn, damn, damn.

I'm going to go back to my original thoughts about Atlantis and be somewhat wary. I'm not sure what new avenues can be explored. If Atlantis = TNG, this one would equal Deep Space 9.
I suppose they could do a series from the POV of the Free Jaffa or something.
I'm still nervous this is Overkill.
Advance news (*snigger*). Also on Gateworld forums, they're taking questions for David Hewlett, probably in advance of an interview. Me being me, I asked the question no-one else would dare - whether he and Jane have any other "productions" in the works. Heh. Hey they asked for unique questions!
I'm not sure how much actor-fan interaction there'll be at Pegasus 2 and I'm not exactly going to advertise, but I think David could take "Helen from Manchester" and figure it out. He's pretty intelligant. And that is how I signed the question (with reference to my ADB username).
I'm kind of hoping my tea-and-sympathy over the Pewter Troll (his term, not mine) will stand me in good stead and he won't be too irritated at me. I love him really.
