So... my worst-kept secret is that I have another fic journal. [livejournal.com profile] yay_faint_hope is for Rodney fics. I've started at Rising and I intend to write something for each episode he features heavily in.

And then there are the crossovers, which are just going to be pure crack

As for [livejournal.com profile] gateship I'm giving that to Rodney and Laura for them to romp in. They seem to like that idea.

OHMYGOD London. Shit, I'm shaking at the mere thought. God knows what I'll be like on Friday...

Apparently they're sick as dogs. I'n not entirely sure it that's from the flight or the naff Londonian air quality.

I feel sorry for Jane because men are pathetic when they get even a sniffle.

I'll pack some chicken soup...

*giggle*

I got an email this morning allegedly from my bank claiming a blacklisted IP had tried to log into my bank account.

My first clue was the reply address: "lloydstsb.co.uk". Ummm it's a dot com. So I click on the link and it goes to "powerband.tv/online_banking/lloydstsb/...etc" and looks exactly like the proper lloyds site.

Yeah, I said proper. Little gets. You ain't getting my account details ya twats. Plus if you really want to hack accounts try ones worth it. Idiots.

I've forwarded the email to Lloyds' Scam department and then I rang the online help desk just to confirm.

If I had more money in, I'd be fuming. As it is, I'm just a bit cross and wryly amused.

After making my very first LJ poll (I think), and spending the day watching the bars, I finally plumped for neither of the suggestions I put up.

I R dork.

Because Claire says my name should reflect my business and that makes a whole lot of sense but I wasn't really in love with Aurora Web Design, I strained my creative juices and came up with...

*drum roll*

Pegasus Web Services

*bows and gathers the thrown flowers*

No it doesn't link because my purchase of the domain name hasn't gone through yet. And it's in a state of contnuous flux as I play with the design.

So I'm pretty much decided to go the web design route, the NES course willing. I've spoken to one of the course people today and she's going to talk to the other and someone will get back to me at some point.

In the meantime, poll:

So still pondering the jewellery vs web design question below, thjis afternoon I got a phone call - from an IT training school I contacted before Christmas.

They have a representative in the area Thursday and she's going to visit around 12:30

It seems somewhat happenstance they the day day after I start questioning what I ought to do. After all, they have had my details several months. As Harry Hill would ask; what are the chances of that happening?

So I went to the NES course last night (New Enterprise Scheme) and I have possible work prospects. Only it's not in the jewellery line, but in web design.

So I'm now pondering whether or not to do jewellery or to take on web design.

Jewellery vs Web Design )

I'd love other people's thoughts on this. I am going to talk to the course people as well, I just want some feedback from you lot.

Thanks :)
