Business ventures

So I went to the NES course last night (New Enterprise Scheme) and I have possible work prospects. Only it's not in the jewellery line, but in web design.
So I'm now pondering whether or not to do jewellery or to take on web design.
Jewellery making. This is more of a hobby thing. Okay I would be actively marketing it (craft shows, placement into schools, nurseries, etc) but it would still basically be a hobby business.
It's something I love doing and it's not time-heavy.
Web design. I've tried (though not hard) this before. Granted I wasn't on a course with 20-odd people, a lot of whom will want a website.
What I indend to sell is where I create a groundwork website and then provide training so the person can keep their own site updated rather than be charged a fortune (seriously, the charges for updating a site are obscene).
It#ll be aimed at individuals and start up businesses and be fairly cheap by comparision.
It'll also probably end up being full-time and I'll more than likely need to learn to drive/get a car.
I'd love other people's thoughts on this. I am going to talk to the course people as well, I just want some feedback from you lot.
Thanks :)
