misaffection | Daleks and other animals

Aren't Daleks marvellous? What with their sink plungers and inability to climb stairs? They're metal upside down shuttlecocks.

And they scared me silly when I was a kid. Heh.

I was thinking - they're a lot like the aliens in War Of The Worlds in that they zap and people die. The very fact the extermination effect is virtually the same is great. Ooh look bones *giggles*

Autons and Daleks. I wonder if we get Cybermen in the next series. Cos that would be great. Cybermen are killed by gold (is was gold wasn't it?), kinda like vampires. Hell it's better than pickled eggs. Though not quite as funny.

Also back to Chris and the whole "he thinks he's the last" business. Apparently the Doctor does hit upon a blast from the past in a later episode. If it turns out to be who I hope it is, you'll hear the squee from space.

I kid you not.

Because without The Master, Doctor Who is like Holmes without Moriarty, Bond without The Bond Baddie, Austin Powers without Doctor Evil.

So yes. I would love it - just love it. Especially if we get someone's who tall, dark and handsome in a brooding kind of way. Kinda like Angel. Or... or... urm... Crais. *hides*
