misaffectionSo yesterday, they finally connected us to the gas main. We have heat! And hot water! I have had a sodding bath! *dies of shock*
The plan for today is to clean my kitchen, since it currently resembles a bomb site, and to bathe Elizabeth.
In other news
My first reaction to this was oh SHIT since I have a feeling that this is gonna blow a wacking great hole in my 'ship.
However, having thought about it some more (and being brutally honest how McKay/Cadman is so not going to happen *sigh*), I decided it might result in Interesting Things.
Rodney has always fancied Carter from afar. I think he holds the memory of her and that the reality, on a regular basis, is going to spoil his idolised view of her.
But Carter hasn't seen Rodney being the hero. If the writers are very cool, we could see an shift in their relationship where Carter finally sees the best of Rodney and is attracted, but he's already moved on.
You know, like in Avril Lavigne's Skater Boi (yes I'm a dork. What of it?)
Whatever happens though, Rodney don't, don't, DON'T kiss her. It leads to Certain Doom...
