Shippiddy do dah
5 Jan 2006 11:10 pmAnyone looking at my Flist will notice I have posted another Rodney/Laura smutlet. I think I might have problems in only writing 69. Like bunnies they are.
Now I know some people (
doylefan22) will probably be grumbling at me, sticking pins in voodoo dolls and generally calling me a rat for abandoning the McWeir ship but
Duet: Ah the episode I have seen all the caps for, read the transcript and yet not actually watched. I don't care how much Laura is ogling Beckett. Or that McKay effectively snogged him. Beckett is cute and has a sexy accent and I don't blame either of them.
What I love about Duet is the way they snipe at each other. It's just so funny and brilliant and is kinda like the Doctor and Rose. In a very weird way.
Critical Mass: I have so much love for this episode. Teyla sings! Goa'uld in Atlantis! And Rodney and Laura and more sniping. And teh Look. I adore Laura's "I've-seen-you-naked" simper at Rodney (right near the start when he finds she's still on Atlantis). Go watch. Adore the moment because he still doesn't get it. Please, someone whallop him over the head the the Idiot's Guide to Women or sommat. (On an aside
morbid_sparks bought H "All That Men Know About Women" for Chrimbo. It's a book. A completely BLANK book *gigglesnorts*)
Where was I?
Oh yeah. I love Rodney's reaction to Laura. It's so obvious he desperately wants to know how much she knows, but he daren't ask. Does he really think she's a Trust Operative? I'm not sure (and was Elizabeth hinting that it might be him or is that just my interpretation? *is confused*)
Laura is great. I lub her muchly. She needs to be on SGA more often cos it's nice to have a well-written woman who's not talking in stilts. (You know what I mean.) Whether she actually likes Rodney as ummm boyfriend material, I don't know. I know she fancies Beckett, but I think she's drawn to McKay cos she likes the arguments. And he's a teeny bit of a Bad Boy and us girlies like that in a bloke.
And I think Katie might have been boasting at just how well he can snog.
And seriously? Would you turn away a guy that dexterous from your bed? *smirks*
And Elizabeth has turned into the Biatch From Hell and quite frankly Sheppard is welcome to her. If she can't see the sexy scientist for the snark, well more pity her.
The Laura!Muse in my head is now in a giggling fit. I pity Rodney, I really do.
So, in conclusion - expect more smut. Heheh.
