the things we do
20 Mar 2005 08:25 pmOne has to be considered insane when one actually opts to get involved in much stress and worry and sleepless nights.
No I am not pregnant again.
We are thinking of moving house. We seriously need to be closer to church. And away from the garbage that exists in this neighbourhood. Okay that's probably not a Christian attitude, but when I don't let my kids play out in their own garden because of the name-calling and bike-stealing that will occur, maybe you could understand. And believe me, the kids are not a patch on their parents.
We went to see a house today. It's really nice. I mean, really nice. It has two double bedrooms and a third smaller room. There's a huge driveway and both front and back gardens. To the mums out there, there is also a downstairs toilet. With seven of us, there will have to be some extending done at some point, but that's a given in any house. We can so not afford a four-bed.
The agent that showed us round suggested a garage attached to the house with a room upstairs. Then we could knock the one down at the end of the driveway and extend the garden. There's also room to go upwards.
Want. House.
It is three miles to the church. It's about two minutes walk to the nearest school. Next to the school is a huge play field and playground. So very very sweet.
