Blasted fuses

misaffectionSo it wasn't the drive belt on the washing machine. I thought it was cos it souded just like my mum's did when her belt went.
H took the washing machine apart yesterday. He traced the problem to the drainer pump and opened that. The problem was a fuse that had somehow skipped the filter and was rattling round inside the pump.
Car fuse, so I wonder where that came from? *rolls eyes*
Anyhoo, upshot is that I now have a working washing machine and it didn't cost anything. Hurrah.
