I have discovered three more people writing Rodney/Laura. The only thing is, after the first ZOMGYAY! moment has passed, I start with the "Oh fuck but that's better than mine" crap.
Not better. *smacks self* Different but not better. That's not saying they aren't good fics cos they are. It's just a difference in style.
Yes I am talking to myself here.
It's not like any of us are canon because we've really not seen that much of Laura. Just a few [very hot] scenes in Critical Mass. And the whole... Duet thing *waves hand vaguely, aware there are people reading this who haven't seen it yet*
I'm going to ignore the want I have to rewrite because I could pull the fics apart for ever and still not be happy with them. It's AU, it doesn't have to meet anyone's expectations.
I'm going to shut up now.
