Write what you know
Today I have
1) tarted up my SGA fiction journal
helenb119
2) commented over at
alphabetasoup to change my SGA pairing
3) joined
fanfic100 and
smut_69 with the new pairing
4) written loads of Love and War and Snow for... who was that now? God I have a sieve brain.
I'm also writing a second part called Tinsel and Ribbon. I'll let you all figure the rating out *grins*
So yes, I think it's safe to say that - for the moment - I'm a confirmed Rodney/Laura shipper. Cos they're fun and it works and it's FUN.
God I love smut *grins broadly*
Fics completed this year: God... Urm. Lots.
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?: Yes and no. I knew I'd write loads, just not in the fandom I did.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2005?: The Doctor with anyone. But Rose...
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?: For DW, I think Wish I Might. For SGA it's Long December.
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?: Writing my first Doctor/Rose smut. And that is was very, very easy to do.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?: See post above.
My Favorite Story of the Year: I'm really not sure.
My Best Story of the Year: I think it's Long December.
Story Most Underappreciated by the Universe in My Opinion: Don't know.
Most Fun Story: The Christmas Aversion.
Most Sexy Story: Has to be Potassium.
Story With the Single Sexiest Moment: Rain Down.
"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: Black & Blue?
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Ready Or Not.
Hardest Story to Write: Long December.
Biggest Disappointment:
Biggest Surprise: How much the Ninth Doctor affected my - I just couldn't stop writing.
Most Unintentionally Telling Story: Long December.
