Grace Under Pressure

So it's not Rodney that crashes (yay!)
For a CGI crash that's damned realistic.
The Sacrifice of the Tomato Guy! OMG!
Berating inanimate objects. It doesn't work - I know cos I do it to my ancient (not with a capital) computer.
I'm worried that I'm saying his lines (more or less) before he is. I know McKay far, far too well.
OMG Major Wibblage. Though an hysterical Rodney is a very cute thing
Whales are not Lassie.
Oh fuck he's just said that!!! *headdesks*
Whoa but that top is loooooooooow.
God he's soooo arrogant *howls with laughter*
Awww. And ow! K, hitting yourself when you've a head injury is a bad call.
*wants to be Tapping*
Elizabeth is Atlantis' Mom - look she's guilting Zelenka and everything *giggles*
Can't even hallucinate... *huggles him*
Okay this is hurting my head now.
For a spaceship it's not very hardy is it?
"But." *snorts*
Well that was an enlightening rant. OMG what has happened to him? *tries not to cry*
Oh god. *cringes slightly* Okay that's just... blokey. And... and... *cough*not jealous*cough*
After Before I Sleep I'm thinking drowning has probably been a recurring nightmare of his. The prospect of actually dying like that...
Oh look.... "Lassie" is gonna save the day after all. lmao
Yes you can be intelligent without being wise.
No, don't think.
"Are you alright?" - okay stooopid question.
That was absolutely excellent. Well worth all the type and refreshing
stargate_eps every five minutes for a download. lol.
David Hewlett. OMG am I ever in love. He is just so damned good. McKay swings from arrogance to fear to cockiness to hysterics and I believed every single moment. I know McKay has his faults - and god don't they come to the fore in GUP (okay that doesn't work) - but David plays him so well it's just impossible not to like him anyway. It's the way he manages to convey vulnerability even when McKay is being completely full of himself. You can tell it's a front and that is very, very good acting.
I loved the way John was so determined to save them (well him since Tomato Guy was dead). And Elizabeth was back to being nice, which was good to see. The writers really don't seem to know what to do with her - they need a female writer I think.
The star of the show was - of course - Teh Pink Top. And while Rodney might berate his hallucination that she had on too much I think it a) shows he's more than that and b) he kinda has Sam on a pedestal.
Sam. Kissing a wet Rodney. So unfair. *sighs*
The rant he has at her about not trusting is going to haunt me for days. The utter anguish on his face... omg I nearly cried. It's obvious Rodney doesn't trust people because he's learned not to. And I feel for that, because I know what that's like. Even after 18 months(?) on Atlantis, he's still not really letting anyone close. We've seen a little softening but I'm wondering if we'll ever get to see him really opening up. Atlantis might not be the place - you aren't going to connect with people when they might be dead the next day.
Yet Sam is his subconscious and she begs him to believe in his team (maybe this is why it was Sam - not just because he fancies her but because as a member SG1 she has the utter faith in her team). Obviously Rodney wants to believe but it's head over heart I suppose.
I don't think he's angry at Radek as a scientist. It's more that his friend has let him down.
I think I need to watch it again. I think there might be more insights into Rodney than I first thought.
